KEEPIG THE HOMELESS WARM

Fall is here and Winter is right around the corner. As I love to garden, I also love to crochet. Crocheting is simple once you learn how to do it! I often crochet headbands to give to the homeless to keep their ears and heads warm. I also collect gloves, scarves, and hats to donate also. Helping people in need is an amazing feeling, it makes us feel better about ourselves that we've changed another's life. I recommend this winter, this summer, or anytime possible to help someone in need in any way! Whether you sat down and spent some time to talk to them or help feed their hungry stomach, it all is better than nothing!

MANATEE HELP!

In Puerto Rico, a massive hurricane hit in September this year. Hurricane Maria caused extreme damage, destroying pretty much everything. The Manatee Conservation Center at the Inter American University of Puerto Rico is suffering from severe destruction. The center lost most of their equipment in Maria and need to replace it. After I visited The Manatee Conservation in Puerto Rico in April this year, then heard about the damage from the hurricane, it hit my heart. The baby manatees and injured manatees are suffering from the hurricane. The manatee's pools were destroyed giving them dirty water and no place to go. They are currently raising money to help replace what they had before. To donate go to https://www.gofundme.com/manatee-center-hurricane-recovery
